Refund Policy

This Refund Policy applies to all paid subscriptions to ShopMage AI by Neon Platypus. By subscribing, you acknowledge and agree to this policy.

1. Monthly Subscriptions

Monthly subscriptions are billed in advance for each billing cycle. No refunds are provided for monthly subscriptions, including but not limited to:

If you wish to stop being charged, cancel your subscription via the Stripe Customer Portal before your next billing date. Access continues until the end of the paid period.

2. Annual Subscriptions

2.1 30-Day Window

Annual subscribers may request a refund within 30 days of the initial subscription purchase or annual renewal, subject to the following conditions:

After 30 days from the start of an annual term, no refunds are issued for any reason. Early cancellation does not entitle you to a pro-rated refund. Your access continues until the end of the paid annual term.

3. Upgrades

When you upgrade your plan, you are charged a prorated amount for the remainder of the current billing cycle. Upgrade charges are non-refundable.

4. Downgrades

Downgrades take effect at the end of the current billing period. No refund or credit is issued for the difference between your current plan and the lower plan during the remaining billing period.

5. Overage Charges

Overage charges for usage beyond your plan's included credits are non-refundable. By enabling overage, you accept responsibility for all overage charges incurred.

6. Account Termination

If we terminate your account for violation of our Terms of Service or Acceptable Use Policy, no refund is issued regardless of remaining time on your subscription.

7. Service Outages

We do not offer refunds or credits for service outages, scheduled maintenance, or temporary unavailability. The Service is provided on an "as available" basis as described in our Terms of Service.

8. Chargebacks

If you initiate a chargeback or payment dispute with your bank or card issuer instead of contacting us first, we reserve the right to immediately suspend your account and contest the chargeback. Accounts suspended due to chargebacks may be terminated permanently.

9. Exceptions

Any refund not covered by this policy is issued solely at our discretion. We are under no obligation to issue refunds beyond what is described above. Refund decisions are final.

10. How to Request a Refund

If you believe you qualify for a refund under Section 2.1:

  1. Email support@neonplatypus.dev with subject line "Refund Request";
  2. Include your site URL and license key;
  3. State the reason for your request;
  4. We will respond within 5 business days.

Approved refunds are processed via Stripe to your original payment method within 5-10 business days.

11. Consumer Rights

Nothing in this policy affects your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 or other applicable consumer protection legislation. However, as a digital service that begins immediately upon subscription, you acknowledge that you may lose your right to cancel under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 once the service has been accessed.
